SaLUT enters the
industrial hygiene field and wins a contract with the General
Services Administration – National Capital Region. SaLUT
will continue to support GSA under a series of successive
contracts to the present day. |

Mr. Perera purchases
SaLUT. He changes the direction of the company, making it a
research and applied civil engineering firm. |
| 1993
|
SaLUT establishes
itself as a major construction inspection and materials testing
company with the purchase of NFE, Inc. SaLUT's Boston,
Massachusetts office opens to support Boston's Big Dig, the most
complex urban highway construction project in U.S. history. At its
height, the project employees 25 SaLUT engineers. An additional
NFE office in Baltimore, Maryland supports geotechnical drilling.

the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to operate FHWA's
Geotechnical Laboratories and Mobile Concrete Laboratory,
beginning SaLUT's pavement research work. |

Laboratory Support Services contract, adding asphalt, corrosion,
and coatings research. |

SaLUT receives its
first industrial hygiene and environmental engineering contract
with the Department of State, expanding the firm's work throughout

FHWA's Mobile Asphalt Trailer Laboratories contract. |

(as a subcontractor to Samsung Corporation) for asbestos survey
and abatement in Korea. |

second industrial hygiene and environmental engineering contract
with the Department of State. |

with the Army Corps of Engineers Honolulu Engineer District for
asbestos and lead survey and abatement throughout the Pacific

of two contracts to conduct remediation and restoration at the
Libby, Montana Superfund site. |

The mentor-protégé
relationship between SaLUT and Global Consulting, Inc. is approved

Global-SaLUT LLC is
incorporated as the umbrella firm for joint ventures between
Global Consulting and SaLUT. |

Global-SALUT LLC joint venture for award of a third five-year
industrial hygiene and environmental engineering contract with the

SaLUT wins a contract
with the Washington Sanitary Sewer Commision for providing indoor

SaLUT was awarded the
US Navy Contract to provide industrial hygiene services at
Norfolk, VA. |
