Global-SaLUT LLC is a joint venture of SaLUT and Global Consulting, Inc. that holds our Environmental Engineering and Industrial Hygiene Services Contract with the US Department of State.Global-SaLUT was established under the U.S. Department of Labor’s Small Business Administration (SBA) Mentor-Protégé programs. Global Consulting is a woman-owned, 8(a), emerging small business that specializes in industrial hygiene, engineering, and construction. Through the SBA-approved mentor-protégé relationship, SaLUT (as the mentor) is providing Global (as the protégé) with assistance in marketing, resources, introduction to SaLUT’s clients, and other business expertise. In return, SaLUT and Global are allowed to form a joint venture qualified to pursue any Federal 8(a) set-aside or sole-source contracts for which Global Consulting would be qualified.

A separate joint venture agreement must be approved by SBA for each contracting opportunity before the contract is signed. Global-SaLUT is the company under which these joint ventures are operating.
