CLASSES
SaLUT has been providing occupational health and safety, and environmental, training for more than 15 years. We offer a wide array of outstanding courses. Our trainers average over 10 years of technical experience and up to 30 years of training experience.

THE SALUT ADVANTAGE
Why choose SaLUT over another training provider? QUALITY.

INSTRUCTORS
Our instructors have many years of practical experience doing what they teach in their courses. Whether that is conducting inspections for asbestos containing materials, managing construction site safety, or working on a superfund site, our instructors have been there. They include professional engineers, certified industrial hygienists, health educators, occupational health nurses, and other degreed professionals with up to 40 years of professional experience. A number have won teaching awards. You will benefit from this real world experience in every course you take.

METHOD
Our courses utilize a variety of discussions, workshops, demonstrations, problem solving exercises and hands-on activities that facilitate the learning process and make class more interesting. These proven adult education techniques improve both the learning environment and the learning process. Our trainers wrote curricula for the EPA and OSHA in the areas of asbestos, hazardous materials, lead paint, and others that developed and refined these techniques.

FLEXIBILITY
Do you need a hazardous waste worker course that complies with 29 CFR 1910.120 but also has specific information on clean-up of PCB’s? Need a class on asbestos control that specifically addresses exposures in roofing work? Need a class at your facility or at times that adjust to your work schedule?
We tailor and customize training to meet the needs of our clients while still complying with regulatory and contractual requirements. We offer our courses at our corporate training facility in Beltsville, Maryland or at your site. Our staff have conducted training in 48 states and around the world.

UP-TO-DATE
SaLUT staff stay up-to-date in all the areas of teaching by speaking at and attending conferences, monitoring regulatory activity, accessing periodicals, and on-line information in the areas in which we deliver training. We are routinely relied upon by government, business, labor and others for information in these fields.
