Asbestos
Worker These courses are designed for individuals who conduct
asbestos abatement activities. The initial training is four days in
length and the refresher is one day. These courses can be delivered in
English or Spanish.
Asbestos Supervisor These
courses are designed for individuals who have supervisory
responsibilities on asbestos abatement or operations and maintenance
projects. The initial training is five days in length and the
refresher is one day.
Asbestos Inspector These
courses are designed for individuals who are conducting inspections
for asbestos containing materials. The initial training is three days
in length and the refresher is 4 hours..
Asbestos Management
Planner These courses are designed for individuals who are
developing management plans for asbestos containing materials in
buildings subject to the EPA schools regulations. The initial training
is 5 days and the refresher is one day.
Asbestos Project
Designer These courses are designed for individuals who will
be designing asbestos abatement projects or writing contract
specifications. The initial training is 5 days and the refresher is
one day.
Asbestos Operations &
Maintenance These courses are designed for individuals who are
doing maintenance or other activities which disturb small amounts of
asbestos containing materials. The initial course is two days and the
refresher is 4 hours. Complies with OSHA, EPA schools rule and
Maryland regulations. These courses can be delivered in English or
Spanish.
Asbestos Class II
(Roofing) These courses are designed for individuals who are
conducting removal of asbestos containing roofing products. The
initial course is one day and the refresher is 3 hours. Complies with
OSHA asbestos standard. These courses can be delivered in English or
Spanish.
Asbestos Awareness This
course is designed for individuals who work in buildings where
asbestos containing products have been identified and who may work in
areas where they might disturb the product. This course is 3 hours in
length. Complies with EPA schools regulations and OSHA asbestos
standard. These courses can be delivered in English or Spanish.
NIOSH 582 This
course addresses state-of-the-art methods of determining the proper
way to sample and analyze for airborne asbestos fibers. The focus of
this course is the NIOSH Analytical Method #7400 and the OSHA
Reference Method (ORM). Through classroom lectures and substantial
hands-on labs, the proper use of graticule calibration and operation
will be addressed.
LEAD
PAINT
Lead Paint
Worker These courses are designed for individuals who conduct
lead paint removal or disturbance of lead painted surfaces subject to
EPA and state regulations. The initial training is two days and the
refresher is one day. These courses can be delivered in English or
Spanish.
Lead Paint

Lead Paint Risk
Assessor These courses are designed for individuals who are
conducting risk assessments in housing and other structures that are
subject to EPA, HUD and state requirements for this activity. The
initial course is five days and the refresher is one day .
HEALTH
& SAFETY
Hazardous
Materials Worker These courses are designed for individuals
who will be conducting remediation work on National Priority List
(NPL), brownsfield, DOD clean-up, state listed or voluntary clean-up
sites. The initial course is five days in length and the refresher is
one day. These courses comply with OSHA standard 29 CFR 1910.120. The
courses can be delivered in English or Spanish.
Fall Protection This
course is designed for individuals whose work tasks are covered by the
OSHA fall protection standard (Sub-part M). The course complies with
this standard and lasts one day. This course can be delivered in
English or Spanish.
Scaffold User This
course is designed for individuals who work on construction site
scaffolding and is subject to the OSHA scaffolding standard (Sub-part
L). The course is 4 hours in length. It complies with the OSHA
standard requirements and can be delivered in English or Spanish.
Confined Space Entry This
course is designed for individuals whose work may require entry into
permit or non-permitted confine spaces. The course complies with OSHA
standard 29 CFR 1910.146. The course lasts two days.
OSHA 10 Construction
Industry Safety This course is designed for individuals
working on construction projects. The course complies with OSHA
Training Institute requirements and is taught by an OSHA approved
instructor. The course lasts 10 hours and can be tailored to the job
or craft of the participants.
OSHA 30 Construction
Industry SafetySafety This course is designed for individuals
working on construction projects. The course complies with OSHA
Training Institute requirements and is taught by an OSHA approved
instructor. The course lasts 10 hours and can be tailored to the job
or craft of the participants.
EMERGENCY
RESPONSE & CLEANUP
Mold
Remediation This course is designed for individuals who are
remediating mold contaminated building materials. The course is based
on best practices currently utilized in the industry. The course is
one day in length for individuals with current asbestos, lead paint or
hazardous materials training and three days in length for who do not
have one of these certifications.
Haz Mat Emergency
Response These courses are designed for individuals who must
respond to or may be first on the scene of a hazardous materials spill
or release. The courses comply with OSHA standard 29 CFR 1910.120 and
Awareness though Technician levels are offered.
Clean-up of
Bio-Hazards This course is designed for individuals who are
involved in the post emergency clean-up of biological materials
resulting from terrorist or other activities. The course is based on
the experience in the clean-up of anthrax contaminated facilities as a
result of the incidents in the fall of 2001. This course is five days
in length, one day for individuals who have current hazardous
materials certification. |
